1. Pop singer Michael Jackson has suffered cardiac arrest, CNN affiliate KTLA reported at 2:29pm.
2. An unconscious Michael Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday afternoon by paramedics who performed C.P.R., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the New York Times reported at 2:49pm.
3. Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times at 3:24pm.
4. Michael Jackson, the pop star, has died, The Associated Press reported at 3:32pm, citing a person with knowledge of the situation.
5. Michael Jackson is dead, CNN confirmed exactly one hour later at 4:32pm.
