By Ofc. Jennifer DeRuwe

Merle W. HarveySpokane PoliceSPD Major Crimes Detectives are continuing their investigation into last night’s shooting death of two men at 1300 West Boone in Spokane.

Detectives are searching for Merle W. Harvey (04/10/1982) and if located, Harvey will be arrested for two counts of first degree murder. Detectives believe that Harvey may be in the company of a white female, mid 30′s to 40′s, short red/brown hair, thin build about 5’8″ tall. They could be traveling in a older model flatbed truck.

Detectives are comfortable releasing the name of Jack Lamere, born in 1976, as one of the homicide victims. The other victim’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.  That name may be released tomorrow.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Harvey or the unidentified female, are asked to call 911.
