Idaho animal shelter receives memorial donation from Schweitzer
By Janice Simeone
On behalf of Schweitzer Mountain, Tom Chasse CEO donated $500.00 to The Panhandle Animal Shelter last week. The generous donation was made in memory of William Johnson. Johnson, 15, a Sandpoint native and avid skier/snowboarder, passed away while skiing December 22, 2009. He and his family spent winters at Schweitzer, enjoying all the resort has to offer. Will was a supporter and volunteer at PAS. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to PAS.
