The Inland Echo gets hijacked

E-mail Print PDF
Never think that your website is safe from hackers. Today, The Inland Echo's home page got hijacked. Although the incursion lasted only a few hours, it was plenty long to inconvenience visitors and divert their attention from the content of this website. If you visited during the time when the site was black and a modified Turkish flag was flying, I apologize for your experience. Obviously no one intends or expects their site to be compromised, and it is a stark reminder of how vulnerable all website when just one incident like this could harm more than just the home page.
